Abellio Greater Anglia continues support for Eastern Angles

Abellio Greater Anglia isagain sponsoring Eastern Angles, the touring theatre company, extending apartnership between the region’s train provider and Eastern Angles whichstretches back over 20 years.

Eastern Angles is just about to embark onits latest tour with its production of “Oysters” beginning at the John PeelCentre in Stowmarket on Wednesday 11 March.

“Oysters” is a tale of relationships,boat-building and bivalve molluscs. Mo has just turned fifty and busy restoringan oyster dredger recovered from an Essex riverbed. Helping him bring theboat back to life is Kasey, a young intern with a chip on her shoulder. When apiece of Mo's beloved dredger goes missing their lives are up-ended and thepast floats to the surface. A new play by Ivan Cutting based on oral historyinterviews developed as part of the Pioneer Sailing Trust Land & Seaproject.
