Abellio Greater Anglia introduces round-the-clock Twitter service

Rail passengers in East Anglia will soon be able to benefit from round-the-clockonline information as Abellio Greater Anglia extends the hours of its Twitterservice.

From Sunday 8 November, the service will beavailable 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The operator has consistentlyexpanded the hours of operation since it started operating the franchise in2012 and more than 60,000 people now follow its @greateranglia and @Stansted_Expaccounts.

The train operator’s dedicated social mediateam will continue to respond to queries and comments from 0630-2200 Monday toFriday, from 1000 - 1900 on Saturdays and from 1000 - 1800 on Sundays. Outsidethese hours, a partnership with National Rail Enquiries means that passengerswill be able to tweet the operator at all hours of the day and night.

The Twitter service is very popular withpassengers and the Abellio Greater Anglia team regularly receives praise fromcustomers for their helpful and responsive approach. It is one of five trainoperators to offer a round-the-clock Twitter service.
