A new ticket aimed at couples travelling bytrain to and from Stansted Airport is delivering greater flexibility and value.
Stansted Express is trialling its popular‘Webduo’ rail ticket (which offers savings when two people travel together) asa ‘single’ option (it was previously only available as a return ticket).
The Webduo single costs £32 from LondonLiverpool Street and £30 from Tottenham Hale, offering a 17.5% saving on theusual single fare.
The single ticket option means that travelplans can be more flexible and cheaper too.
More passengers than ever are using theStansted Express service to access Stansted Airport, 28% of them are two peopletravelling together.

Stansted Express is the fastest and mostcomfortable way to get between Central London and the Airport. Journey timeto/from Liverpool Street is just 47 minutes or 36 minutes from Tottenham Haleand the train station at the airport is directly under the airport terminal,just a 2 minute walk to check-in.
With trains every 15 minutes between LondonLiverpool Street and Stansted Airport, the Stansted Express not only offerscustomers a frequent service, but also travel on one of the most modern trainfleets in the country, which include free Wi-fi, free charge points and an atseat trolley service of drinks and snacks.
Recent improvements to the service haveincluded the installation of a new, dedicated Customer Service Desk at LondonLiverpool Street station which includes four ticket machines, a flight informationdisplay screen providing departure information for flights leaving in the next2-3 hours, and a train departure information screen, showing next train andplatform information and service updates and will be staffed by customerservice assistants who will help passengers with ticket purchasing, generalenquiries, flight and rail information and directions to the correct platformsfor trains to Stansted Airport.
