Celebrations for the Queen's 90th birthday commence!

Rail passengers inCambridgeshire, Essex and Hertfordshire enjoyed free treats at rail stationsthis morning, as train operator Abellio Greater Anglia beganto give out over 7,000 cupcakes as part of their celebrations for the Queen’s90th birthday.

Staffand managers at Audley End, Bishop’s Stortford, Broxbourne, Cheshunt, Elsenham, Ely,Great Chesterford, Harlow Town, Hertford East, March, Newport, Sawbridgeworth,Shelford, Stansted Mountfitchet, Waltham Cross, Ware and Whittlesford Parkwaystations dressed up, decorated stations with bunting and gave out the treats tocommuters as part of the national ‘Stationto Station Queen's Celebration’ campaign.

Thecelebrations will continue all week with other events around the network,including a giant tea party at Burnham Station House and celebrations atReedham and Sheringham at the weekend.
