Theteam at Abellio Greater Anglia’s Colchester rail station spread a littlefestive cheer to busy commuters during this morning’s rush hour, handing outfree mince pies, chocolates, clementines and teas and coffees to railpassengers.
Thefestive giveaway, which took place between 0630 and 0930 this morning (22December 2015) saw rail customers enjoy 60 mince pies,50 clementines, 10 tins of chocolates and 400 cups of tea and coffee!
AbellioGreater Anglia’s Area Customer Service Manager, John Mannion, said, “We wantedto show our regular commuters that we have appreciated their patience as wecarried out improvements to the station during 2015, such as the upgrade to thewaiting rooms, and as redevelopment work continues. It was great fun to spreada bit of Christmas cheer to brighten up the morning of the many passengerspassing through the station on their way to work and we wish all of ourcustomers a very happy Christmas.”
