EFQM accreditation achieved

Abellio GreaterAnglia has demonstrated its commitment to delivering excellent service with the achievement of a 5-star ‘Recognised for Excellence’ accreditation from the EuropeanFoundation for Quality Management (EFQM).

The EFQM ‘Recognisedfor Excellence’ accreditation is a peer-assessed programme that judges businessmanagement practice and recommends ways in which they can improve.

A team of trained assessors from EFQM memberorganisations spent several days on-site, interviewing people from all levelsof the organisation and recommended a 5 star rating in their final report.

In order to qualifyfor 5-star accreditation businesses must demonstrate the following criteria:

  1. They are a high profile organisationwhere change is well managed.

  2. The business improves, refines and simplifies thepractices it uses to achieve its goals.

  3. Have ongoing results in line with its strategy.
