Festival fever on board Abellio Greater Anglia services this weekend

Carnival fever is descending on AbellioGreater Anglia’s special services this weekend as the annual Harwich Festivalstreet show takes place.

Trains departing Manningtree for HarwichTown on Saturday 4 July at 11am and 1pm will be packed with a free feast ofentertainment.

The nautical-themed train will be decoratedin a kaleidoscope of colour and festival fun on board the train will includeperformers and free activity packs for children.

Upon arrival in Harwich, a piper will leadtravellers to the town centre where the show starts at 2pm. The annualspectacular includes street performers, artists from Brazil, theatre and dancegroups. There is plenty to see and do around Harwich including visiting theFestival Art Quarter with its five galleries.

Passengers on the 11am service will arrivein time for the midday concert in St Nicholas Church for a song recital andthere are plenty of places to eat and drink before the street show at 2pm.
