Gold Investor In People status for Train Presentation team

Abellio GreaterAnglia’s Train Presentation Team has been awarded the prestigious ‘Investor inPeople’ Gold status in recognition of its progressive approach to businessimprovement through its people.

Over 300 members ofstaff work in the train operator’s Train Presentation Team at Ilford depot, andare responsible for the interior and exterior cleanliness of the train fleetand cleaning at stations.

The team achieved a Gold Award, whichdemonstrates that they have gone beyond the 39 requirements needed to achievethe standard IIP Status, and have taken aforward thinking and expansive approach to cascading best practice throughevery level of the organisation.

In achieving the Gold Status, the teamdemonstrated an additional 128 points of evidence to indicate areas where theyhad gone beyond the standard. Of all the organisations assessed currently inthe UK, only 3.5% achieve the Gold certification.
