Improvement work commences at Billericay station

Passengers using Billericayrail station are to benefit from improved facilities, thanks to improvementworks being carried out by Abellio Greater Anglia.

Work started this weekendto install new automatic ticket gates at the station, six in the ticket halland four on platform 2.


Followingthis work, Abellio Greater Anglia will then make repairs to the platforms,carrying out general maintenance to the platform coper edging stones, surfacesand drainage.

The work is expected to be complete laterthis Spring and will involve occasional night work to minimise inconvenience tocustomers.
