Kids travel for £2 this summer!

Children can travel for less than the price of a sandwich this summer thanks toAbellio Greater Anglia’s new offer.

The train operator is offering the specialoff-peak fare to children aged between five and 15 on most routes across thenetwork until September 23.

Andy Camp, Abellio Greater Anglia’sCommercial Director said: “This is a great opportunity for people to get outand explore the east of England. This new fare has been introduced followingcustomer feedback and we hope it allows families to enjoy a great day out thissummer and to make the most of the holidays.”

Pete Waters, Brand Manager at Visit EastAnglia, said: “There are so many brilliant family day trips across the regionand this is a perfect chance to enjoy them without the frustration of trafficjams and delays…arrive fresh and ready to have fun! Encouraging youngsters toget into the habit of using our excellent rail links is also great long-termfor the environment.”

The offer runs until Wednesday 23September. The child must be accompanied by an adult with an off-peak or superoff-peak ticket, including a group of adults with GroupSave discounted tickets.
