New conductors graduate

Abellio Greater Anglia has welcomed eightnew conductors aboard its trains following the completion of their trainingprogramme. The group joined thecompany earlier this year and graduated as fully-trained conductors in November.

The train operator’s latest graduates were presented withcertificates by Abellio Greater Anglia’s Customer Service Director, Andrew Goodrum, at a graduation ceremony held in Norwich to mark thesuccessful completion of their training.

The newly qualified conductors will now take up theirconductor positions around the Abellio Greater Anglia network, based at Ipswich,London Liverpool Street and Norwich.

Trainee conductors participate in a 16-week trainingprogramme where they learn and are coached in all the operational, commercialand customer service requirements of the train conductor role.

Andrew Goodrum, Abellio Greater Anglia’s Customer Service Director commented:“It is always a pleasure to be able to welcome new colleagues into our team andI should like to wish all of our recently graduated conductors every success fortheir future careers.”

The new conductors are: Edina Gotthard (London), Sarah Carr (Norwich), HayleyPoynton (Norwich), Louis Bellchamber (Norwich),Jonathan Kennell-Webb (Ipswich),Connor Arribas (Norwich), Lakshmiprasad Munipalli (Ipswich) and Alan Collis (Ipswich).
