New Stansted Express customer service desk opens at London Liverpool Street

A dedicated Customer Service Area for theStansted Express train service has been opened by Abellio Greater Anglia andManchester Airport Group at London Liverpool Street rail station.

Abellio Greater Anglia, operator of theStansted Express service, and Manchester Airport Group, who operates StanstedAirport, hope that the new, dedicated Customer Service and Information Areawill improve customers’ ‘train to plane’ experience.

The Service Area, situated on the concoursenext to the existing Stansted Express Ticket Vending Machines (TVMs), containsfour ticket machines, a flight information display screen providing departureinformation for flights leaving in the next 2-3 hours, and a train departureinformation screen, showing next train and platform information and serviceupdates.

The Service Area will be manned by Abellio GreaterAnglia customer service assistants, who will help passengers with ticketpurchasing, general enquiries, flight and rail information and directions tothe correct platforms for trains to Stansted Airport. Timetables andinformation leaflets are also available,
