AbellioGreater Anglia has commenced works to create a new waiting room at Marks Teyrail station.
The new waiting room and canopy structure will be installed betweenthe footbridge and existing buildings on platforms 2/3.
The waiting room will featurenew seating and redecoration in Abellio Greater Anglia colours and once the works are complete, the existing waiting room on platforms 2/3will also be refurbished.
Simi Tinubu, Area Customer Service Manager, said, “The newfacilities will offer passengers an improved, more comfortable waitingenvironment. Investing in upgrades to stations across the network is extremelyimportant to Abellio Greater Anglia, demonstrating our commitment to providing excellent facilities and service to ourcustomers.”
