AbellioGreater Anglia, has announced that more passengers than ever used its StanstedExpress service in 2014.
Passenger numbers were up 21% on 2013, toover 6 million in 2014 - with the train operator’s range of low cost fares andfast, frequent services cited as the reasons that people choose to travel toStansted Airport by rail.

To complement the fast, frequent service, arange of good value ticket products are available which are ideal for family orfriends travelling together, including ‘Duo’ and ‘Group 3 and Group 4’ offers.
Stansted Express is the fastest and mostcomfortable way to get between Central London and the Airport. Journey timeto/from Liverpool Street is just 47 minutes or 36 minutes from Tottenham Haleand the train station at the airport is directly under the airport terminal,just 2 minutes from checkout.

Recent improvements to the service have included:
the installation of a new, dedicatedCustomer Service Desk at London Liverpool Street station which includes fourticket machines, a flight information display screen providing departureinformation for flights leaving in the next 2-3 hours, and a train departureinformation screen, showing next train and platform information and serviceupdates and will be staffed by customer service assistants who will helppassengers with ticket purchasing, general enquiries, flight and railinformation and directions to the correct platforms for trains to StanstedAirport. Timetables and information leaflets are also available;
the introduction of additional servicesbetween Cambridge and Stansted Airport services. Abellio Greater Anglia nowoperates eight new services in each direction on Mondays to Fridays to enhancethe existing timetable, operated by Cross Country, to provide an improved half-hourlyoff-peak frequency on the Cambridge to Stansted Airport rail corridor.
The extra trains depart Cambridge at:09.31, 10.26, 11.26, 12.26, 13.26, 14.26, 15.26 and 21.46, with return servicesfrom Stansted Airport at: 10.05, 11.05, 12.05, 13.05, 14.05, 15.05, 16.05 and22.05. All services call at Audley End.
