A collection at Harlow Town rail station has helped to boost the coffers of a local charity.

Volunteers from Four Swans Vision visited the station on 14 November to collect donations for the charity which helps the visually impaired, raising over £320.

Amy Brown, Greater Anglia’s Area Customer Service Manager, commented: “We are always happy to support charities which really help the local community and are close to the hearts of staff and customers and would like to thank our customers for their generosity on the day.”

Four Swans Vision is a not-for-profit community charity dedicated to improving the lives of visually impaired adults and their companions.

The money raised will help to fund peer support and social activities to help address loneliness and isolation.
