Greater Anglia is advising festival-goers attending Sundown in Norfolk to plan ahead and check before they travel between Friday 30 August and Sunday 1 September.

There is no planned engineering work affecting travel to the festival, but services and stations are expected to be busy as people head by train to the event the Norfolk Showground, near Norwich.

Direct shuttle buses will operate between Norwich rail station and the festival site throughout the weekend.

Greater Anglia’s Area Customer Service Manager, James Reeve, said: “We will be working hard to ensure everything runs smoothly for people attending the Sundown Festival this weekend and will have extra staff on hand to provide help and assistance to people should they need it.

“We do expect the station to be very busy throughout the weekend so we would ask all customers to please be patient and respect our staff at all times, as they will be doing their best to keep people moving.”

Greater Anglia also has a range of great value fares available for people travelling to the Festival, including GroupSave for people travelling in a group of three or more.
